Tyrod Taylor not viewed as a 'bridge QB' by Chargers

Peter King of NBC Sports reports Chargers coach Anthony Lynn doesn't view Tyrod Taylor as a bridge quarterback. (NBC Sports)

Fantasy Impact:

Taylor is ready to take over the Chargers' quarterback situation following the departure of Philip Rivers this off-season. However, there is a scenario in which the team could select Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa with the sixth overall pick in this week's draft. That would essentially make Taylor a "bridge quarterback" until Tua is ready. But, if LA passes on Tagovailoa then it is all systems go in regards to Taylor as a late-round fantasy sleeper. Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Austin Ekeler, and Hunter Henry would form the strongest supporting cast Taylor has ever had. Additionally, his rushing ability gives him a high fantasy floor.
