Corey Davis will not have fifth-year option picked up by Titans

The Titans will not be offering Corey Davis his fifth-year option. He will most likely become a free agent after the 2020 season. (Dov Kleiman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Davis was selected fifth overall in 2017 after setting the NCAA career receiving record with 5,278 yards at Western Michigan University. He looked to take a step in the right direction in 2018 with 65 catches for 891 yards and four touchdowns after a less-than-mediocre rookie season. In 2019 though, Davis was outshined by second-round rookie A.J. Brown who developed a great rapport with the newly-acquired Ryan Tannehill. Davis saw a huge drop in production, seeing just 43 receptions for 601 yards and two touchdowns last year. Davis still has desirable size, speed, and athletic ability and will certainly be a target for a lot of teams in the 2021 offseason. Our consensus ranking put him at 69th and he should only be drafted as a late-round flyer in deep leagues.
