Joe Mixon will return to team if fully healed, per Zac Taylor

In a recent interview, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed that he would not shelve Joe Mixon for the rest of the year and that the team has “got two weeks to see how it heals and if he's able to come back.” He also alluded to Mixon’s December in 2019 where he played well and helped them secure two wins. Fantasy Impact:

A lot of this could be coach speak, but Mixon is eligible to return prior to Week 14’s matchup against the Cowboys and could possibly suit up for it if 100% healthy. Early reports were that Mixon would return for that week, but in the wake of Joe Burrow’s season-ending injury there are rumors that Mixon would be shut down for the year. Zac Taylor is doing his best to lay those rumors to rest. If Mixon is able to return to practice next week that would bode well for his Week 14 availability.
