The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and QB Baker Mayfield have begun contract negotiations, with the team "making every effort to get it done," though Mayfield won't take a discount. (Dianna Russini on Twitter)

Mayfield resurrected his career in Tampa with career-high numbers of 4,044 yards and 28 touchdowns. With Mike Evans' return being made official on Monday, March 4, there's more incentive for Mayfield to stay. However, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that Atlanta and Minnesota are waiting in the wings to attract Mayfield when they have the chance.
