Clive Walford to be 'eased' back into action

by Anthony Cervino | Mon, Jul 25th 4:07pm EDT

NFL media's Adam Caplan is reporting that Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford (knee laceration) resumed running on Sunday, but is expected to be "eased" back into action during training camp. (Adam Caplan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Clive Walford is entering his second NFL season in 2016 and will be the starting tight end on the Oakland Raiders. On an up and coming Raiders' offense, Walford made strides in 2015 to solidify himself as a receiving threat. In 16 games, Walford caught 28 passes for 329 yards and three touchdowns with the bulk of his production coming in the second half of the year. In the upcoming fantasy football campaign, Walford should be considered a mid-to-low range TE2 who can break out and become a viable every-week starter.
