The Dolphins’ porous run defense should give Chris Ivory plenty of room to use his legs

With Week 12 well underway thanks to three games on the Thanksgiving Day slate, it’s time to shift focus to the Sunday and Monday slate. Therefore, even though there are no longer teams on bye weeks, there are fewer games due to the aforementioned Thursday slate.

QB – Brian Hoyer $28

Hoyer has been over-achieving this season, and that isn’t likely to change this week, as he goes up against the most generous defense to opposing quarterbacks. Hoyer should get back to throwing for multiple touchdowns this week meaning he will return nice value on his price.

RB1 – Chris Ivory $31

Ivory has been on a downward slide for much of the past four weeks, however he has found a way to be productive for fantasy purposes in two of them. Whether via yards or touchdowns, Ivory should have the chance to provide very solid production this week given his matchup against the leaky Miami Dolphins’ defense.

RB2 – Javorius Allen $17

Allen is somewhat of an unknown at this point due to his limited opportunities. However, he should have a heavy workload against the Browns, who a have a poor defense against the run. With Matt Schaub taking over at quarterback, I like Allen’s chances of finding the end zone for his first career touchdown.

WR1 – DeAndre Hopkins $36

DeAndre Hopkins has proven throughout the season that he is matchup proof, but this week he has a very favorable matchup against the Saints. Don’t expect him to slow down this week, and there is now a nice QB-WR stack in this lineup.

WR2 – Odell Beckham $35

As should be expected, Beckham has received a ton of targets over the past few weeks. He has had consistent touchdown production this season and Washington is a favorable matchup. Not much else needs to be said, as Beckham is one of the best in the game.

WR3 – Cody Latimer $10

Latimer has had an increased role in the Broncos’ offense since Brock Osweiler has taken over at quarterback. He still hasn’t exactly had targets flying his way, but with Emmanuel Sanders’ playing status still in question for this week, Latimer is a nice sleeper option. Given his contest minimum price, I’ll take my chances.

TE – Delanie Walker $20

Walker has flown under the radar when people talk about elite options at tight end, but he has been consistently productive from week to week. Oakland is a great matchup for him to exploit and to continue his productive season.

Flex – Antonio Andrews $14

The Raiders are a generous team against the run and Andrews continues to get carries. He hasn’t found the end zone since Week 2, which is obviously problematic and caps his upside. Still, given his safe volume he is a decent flex play.

Defense – Atlanta Falcons $10

Atlanta has had a surprisingly solid defense for much of the season. They should have a chance to build on those performances against the Vikings’ offense, which isn’t the most intimidating. Adrian Peterson running wild is always a concern, but this game should be a low-scoring affair.
