An already thin Thursday schedule is reduced by three more games as ARI/COL (bye-bye, Coors Field), MIA/NYM (Game 1 of doubleheader), and CHC/WSH all play before 6:40 pm EST. So, we must settle for six games on Thursday night.
Of those six matchups, three games have an over/under of at least nine total runs. As far as pitchers are concerned, two of the remaining games have an over/under of 7.5 total runs. Also, two pitchers are deemed as heavy favorites (-200 odds, or greater) by Vegas: the Red Sox and Dodgers.

Pitcher
Eduardo Rodriguez (BOS): $8,600 vs. TOR
It was a rough outing for Rodriguez in his last start (3.1 IP, 5 ER, and 4 K), but he’ll look to rebound against the Blue Jays on Thursday night. Prior to his blunder, Rodriguez went four straight starts allowing one earned run or less while striking out at least five batters in each performance. This season, Rodriguez has faced Toronto three times. During those appearances, E-Rod is 2-0 with a 2.41 ERA and tallied 15 strikeouts in 18.2 innings of work.
