Just as it appeared to be at the beginning of the season, the Bucs’ backfield is a bit of a fantasy nightmare – so avoid it if you can.

Jaylen Samuels is presently 16th in half-point PPR in our Expert Consensus Rankings, but could challenge for the RB1 spot in a great matchup against winless Cincinnati; at the very least, his high floor should make him a solid cash-game play in daily fantasy.

Remember when Sammy Watkins was a thing? Austan Kas breaks down just how frustrating Watkins has been as a fantasy asset:

If you have another feasible quarterback option this week, it might not be the worst idea to go in that direction. Even with the revenge narrative (Rodgers is chafed the 49ers didn’t draft him, in case you hadn’t heard), this San Francisco defense has created plenty of headaches for fantasy owners.
