Mike Tagliere’s Updated Week 4 Fantasy Football Rankings
This is a week unlike any other fantasy football managers have ever seen. We’ve already had one game postponed until later in the season, and it seems likely that we have another game (Patriots and Chiefs) that gets postponed. What are fantasy managers to do about the pending game that may get pushed back to another weeek? Some commissioners have stepped up and said that you’re able to start Patriots/Chiefs in your starting lineup, but that you post your alternate players in the league chat priort to the noon games kicking off. If the Patriots/Chiefs game gets canceled, they would go in an manually insert players into your lineup. It does create extra work for them, so be appreciative if they do offer this. Now, here are the players who are actually out or are a game-time decision.
Chris Carson (expected to play)
Carlos Hyde (not expected to play)
Davante Adams (expected to play)
DeAndre Hopkins (gametime decision)
Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley (both expected to play)
Henry Ruggs (doubtful)
As you can see, there are a lot of injuries on top of the postponed game(s). If you’re torn on who to play because of that, here are my updated rankings (that will be adjusted all the way up until kickoff) for this week after learning of all the injuries. If you’d like to know why each player is where they are, I’ve written a full paragraph on every player from every game in The Primer. It’s a weekly article that answers just about any question you might have, and you can read it for FREE right here. If you are still torn, we do a Sunday morning livestream where I answer as many of your questions that I can for a full hour, starting at 11am EST. Here’s the link to that.
