Jordan Zimmermann labored through 4.2 IP on Thursday against the Twins, allowing five ER on four hits, five walks, and three strikeouts. He threw 99 pitches with 57 going for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
After a fairly impressive debut against the Red Sox, J-Zim really stunk it up on Thursday. Like last season, it seems like he'll be inconsistent and too risky to own in standard leagues unless he strings together several good starts. His next start figures to come against the Rays on Wednesday.
