Trevor Cahill allowed nine hits with four walks for five runs against the Diamondbacks Wednesday over 5 2/3 innings. He did notch nine strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
The Ks have been the only silver lining for Cahill, who now owns an ERA of 4.50 and a 1.33 WHIP. Three of his four starts have been pretty ugly, with his one-run, seven-inning matchup against the Marlins largely saving his season totals. Still, he has a whopping 30 strikeouts in 24 innings, meaning he could be a deep-league streaming candidate in favorable matchups for those desperate for Ks.
