The Mets are hopeful Yoenis Cespedes will be ready to return in 7-to-10 days. He recently suffered a quad injury while on rehab assignment, delaying his return. (Mike Puma on Twitter)

This is certainly a frustrating situation for owners who were expecting Cespedes back by now. The team could use Cespedes as their DH next week in a series against the Rangers, which is currently the target for his return.
