Brett Phillips promoted from Triple-A

Brett Phillips has been recalled from Triple-A to take the place of Travis Shaw who was placed on paternity leave. (Milwaukee Brewers on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Phillips will get his first shot in the majors with his recall from Triple-A. Look for him to get a start while Shaw is out on paternity leave. Phillips is one of the top prospects in the Brewers' organization and was batting .297 with 11 home runs and 41 RBIs in Triple-A this season. Phillips may only get a quick look with Shaw out only a couple of days or they could choose to keep him on the roster and release a player from the end of the bench such as Nick Franklin. He is worth a speculative pickup in deep leagues if you have an open roster spot.
