Fantasy Impact:
Gaviglio was summoned to the big club from Tacoma on Tuesday to provide a fresh arm in the bullpen, but was not used in his brief stay. The 27-year-old right hander started 11 games for the Mariners earlier this season, logging a 4.62 ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 62.1 innings. He is expected to be back up with the big club within a few weeks in a relief role. In a corresponding move, the Mariners activated outfielder Mitch Haniger from the disabled list.
