Fantasy Impact:
Ellis is not much more than a soft-hitting backup catcher at this point in his career, and he has not been relevant to fantasy owners since 2013, when he caught 115 games for the Dodgers. He will look to beat out fellow catchers Rocky Gale, Rafael Lopez, and Luis Torrens for the opportunity to backup starter Austin Hedges.
