Mike Fiers (1-1) took the loss against the Yankees on Friday, giving up six runs (five earned) on eight hits in 5 2/3 innings, striking out four and walking one in the Tigers' 8-6 defeat.
Fantasy Impact:
Fiers looked great in his first start with the Tigers giving up no runs against the White Sox. But the veteran righty struggled against the Yankees. Fiers has a history of being inconsistent on the mound and shouldn't be trusted by fantasy owners.
