Jeremy Hellickson takes no-decision in season debut Monday

by Mike Maher | Tue, Apr 17th 8:01am EDT

Jeremy Hellickson allowed two runs on seven hits and one walk over 4 2/3 innings in his debut with the Washington Nationals on Monday. The New York bullpen went on to allow six runs in the eighth inning in what ended up as s come-from-behind win for the Nationals, leaving Hellickson with a no-decision.

Fantasy Impact:

After a solid 2016 campaign with the Philadelphia Phillies, Hellickson had a rough go of things in 2017 with the Baltimore Orioles, pitching to a 5.43 ERA while striking out just 96 batters over 164 innings. While he provides starting pitching depth for the Nationals, his spot in the rotation is definitely not guaranteed if he pitches poorly to start the season.
