David Freese used off the bench in loss to the Padres

David Freese was called upon to pinch hit and was hit by a pitch in Sunday’s loss to the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Freese has not had a regular starting role this season. He has had starts at both third and first base, but has also been used off the bench just as often. In his 68 plate appearances he has hit three home runs and is slashing .250/.321/.426. He is not a viable fantasy option, even temporarily, unless he gets a regular starting role. Even then, he can offer moderate power and not much else.
