Josh Hader to see more save chances early on

Brewers manager Craig Counsell says the injuries to Corey Knebel and Jeremy Jeffress will change how the team uses Josh Hader. (MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

This could mean Hader sees more save chances early on. The Brewers would prefer to use him as a multi-inning weapon in the middle of games, but they might need him in the ninth inning right now. Hader has been getting drafted even in leagues that don't count holds, and the recent Knebel news should make Hader more of a priority if anyone hasn't drafted yet. It's not out of the question he becomes the closer for a big part of the season. Milwaukee could also just go out and sign Craig Kimbrel, which would kill Hader's chances at long-term save opportunities.
