Jameson Taillon allowed four runs on six hits over six innings in the Pirates' 5-3 loss to the Reds on Thursday. He struck out four and walked two.
Fantasy Impact:
Taillon wasn't helped by his bullpen, as he left two runners on base only for reliever Richard Rodriguez to serve up a three-run home run, charging two extra runs to Taillon. Still, this was a less-than-stellar performance from Taillon after lofty expectations were laid upon him heading into 2019. He'll look to rebound next time out against these same Reds at home on Thursday.
