Masahiro Tanaka didn't factor into the decision against the Astros on Monday, giving up just one earned run on three hits over six innings, striking out three and walking two as the Yankees fell 4-3.

The bullpen didn't help out Tanaka on Monday as they blew a two-run lead. Tanaka is off to a strong start in 2019 with a 1.47 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP through 18 1/3 innings. the veteran starter has a good matchup in his next start when he faces the White Sox at home.
