Harrison Bader (hamstring) placed on 10-day IL

Harrison Bader missed three straight games due to a hamstring injury but the Cardinals ultimately moved him to the 10-day IL, retroactive to April 14. St. Louis has recalled Lane Thomas from their Triple-A affiliate. (St. Louis Cardinals on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Bader wound up landing on the IL after him and the Cardinals tried to ride out his hamstring woes. With Bader and Tyler O'Neill placed on IL, Jose Martinez has a great opportunity to pickup more plate appearances. In 34 at-bats, Martinez is slashing .265/.265/.324 and has four runs scored, five RBI and eight strikeouts.
