Noah Syndergaard backs his own shutout with solo home run

Mets starter Noah Syndergaard tossed a complete game shutout in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Reds while also providing all of the day's offense with a solo home run in the third inning. The struck out 10 while allowing four hits and one walk.
Fantasy Impact:
After hitting a rough patch to start the season and seeing his ERA balloon to 6.35 through his first six starts, Syndergaard was brilliant on Thursday. His ERA is still north of 5.00, however, which is an indication of just how rough his April was. He will look to follow up this performance when he takes on the Padres in San Diego.
