Yan Gomes was removed from Monday's game against the Brewers with a left forearm contusion after he was hit by a pitch by Jhoulys Chacin. (Mark Zuckerman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gomes remained in the game initially before being pinch hit for in the third inning by Kurt Suzuki. It does not seem likely that Gomes will miss much time with a diagnosis of a contusion, but Suzuki would vault into a borderline top-12 catcher if he got the job to himself.
