Ian Kennedy earns fourth save

Kansas City Royals right-hander Ian Kennedy pitched a scoreless ninth to preserve a 6-4 win over the White Sox on Friday. Kennedy struck out two on the way to earning his fourth save.
Fantasy Impact:
Kennedy continues to tighten his grip on the closer job in KC. That being said, it isn't a very lucrative role as the Royals haven't afforded many save chances to their closer this season. Kennedy now has a 3.86 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 25 2/3 innings of work.
