Jesus Aguilar traded to Tampa Bay Rays

Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar has been traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for pitcher Jake Faria, according to MLB insider Jeff Passan on Twitter (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Aguilar had a breakout season in 2018 but has disappointed so far in 2019, batting .225 with eight home runs through 94 games. He has been playing much better over the last month, however, and has been linked to the Rays for a couple of weeks now. With the Rays seeking a right-handed bat and the Brewers in desperate need of starting pitching, this deal makes sense for both sides. The Rays suddenly have a very crowded infield with Yandy Diaz and Brandon Lowe still on the IL, so Aguilar's playing time may continue to be sporadic in Tampa Bay.
