Nationals starter Anibal Sanchez allowed one earned run on one hit and two walks while striking out six over 8 1/3 innings in Friday's win over the Cubs. The win brings him to 8-6 on the season.

Sanchez was dominant on Friday, and the veteran right-hander continues to be a pleasant surprise for the Nationals and fantasy owners who have grabbed him off waivers in recent weeks. Despite allowing five earned runs in a no-decision to the Brewers last time out, he has his ERA down to 3.81 on the season. He will take on the Marlins at home in his next start.
