Fantasy Impact:
Verlander, who suffered a lat strain in early March, eventually underwent groin surgery in mid-March. He normally would've had to begin the 2020 season on the injured list but should now be ready to go whenever things get underway this summer. Despite his advanced age of 37, Verlander will once again be one of the first SPs to come off draft boards this year.
