Madison Bumgarner did not factor into the decision against the Angels on Tuesday. He allowed eight runs on 13 hits in 5.1 innings. He struck out two.

Bumgarner was gifted a seven-run lead, but he allowed the Angels to pull even in the middle innings. He surrendered eight extra-base hits, and failed to miss bats. This season, Bumgarner has a 5.2 K/9, the lowest mark of his career. He also has a miserable 8.53 ERA and 1.74 WHIP. He'll start next against the Rangers on Tuesday.
