Charlie Morton strikes out eight in final regular season start

Charlie Morton received a no-decision in his final regular season start of the year on Friday against the Phillies, striking out eight while allowing four runs (three earned) over five innings pitched.

Fantasy Impact:

Morton allowed seven hits and one walk as the Rays eventually won 6-4. It wasn't the season that fantasy managers were hoping for when they used an early-round draft pick on Morton. One year after registering a 3.05 ERA with 240 strikeouts in 194 2/3 innings, Morton put up a 4.74 mark to go along with 42 strikeouts in 38 frames. He's in line to start the third game of the Rays' Wild Card round (if necessary).
