Mike Minor gets no-decision on Saturday vs. Mariners

by Jon Mathisen | Sun, Sep 27th 12:27pm EDT

Mike Minor was handed a no-decision in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Mariners when he allowed just one run on four hits with seven strikeouts and no walks across five innings in the A's eventual 5-1 loss.

Fantasy Impact:

Minor did a good job limiting the Mariners, scattering four hits over five innings and issuing no free passes. The veteran left-hander has taken a step back overall this year with a 1-6 record, 5.56 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and a 62:20 K/BB ratio across 56 2/3 innings (11 starts) between the Rangers and A's. He'll likely work out of the bullpen in the postseason for Oakland.
