Lance McCullers Jr. allowed five runs--four earned--on eight hits, including three home runs, with five strikeouts and a walk across four innings in the Astros 10-5 victory over the A's in Game 1 of the ALDS on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
It was anything but a smooth appearance for McCullers who ran into a lot of trouble after an easy first inning. He surely would have been hit with a loss if the Houston offense hadn't exploded by scoring seven unanswered runs in innings six through nine.
