Fantasy Impact:
Cruz was involved in an automobile accident that killed three people back in September. There was initially a thought that Cruz would be charged with being under the influence of alcohol, but no evidence has been found and he appears to be cleared legally. Pirates GM Ben Cherington expects Cruz to be a full participant in spring training 2021.
