Randy Arozarena reportedly detained in Mexico

ESPN's Jeff Passan confirms that Rays OF Randy Arozarena has been detained in Mexico after an incident in which he allegedly tried to take his daughter from her mother and assaulted the woman’s father. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

Diario de Yucatan and Yucatan Ahora, two Spanish language newspaper, reported this earlier. Passan adds that MLB's department of investigation is looking into the incident. Even if he's cleared of all legal trouble, which as of now seems unlikely, Arozarena could face punishment from MLB.
