Carter Kieboom will get a chance to start at 3B

Carter Kieboom will get a chance to start at third base, according to Nationals manager Davey Martinez. The job "is yours, but you've got to earn it," is what Martinez said. (Mark Zuckerman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is somewhat encouraging news for Kieboom and a nice endorsement from the Nationals. Kieboom has been a disappointment across 138 major league at-bats with a .181/.309/.232 triple slash line between the 2019 and 2020 seasons. As Davey Martinez stated, he has to earn it, but will likely be given opportunity this spring to earn the job. The Nats aren't ready to throw in the towel on the former top prospect.
