Juan Soto’s off-season project was to improve his agility, Dave Martinez said. “He wants to steal more bases.” Soto has swiped 23 bags over 313 games in his MLB career. The 22-year-old OF would be considered the top player in fantasy if he does become a base-stealing threat. He’s doesn’t have elite speed, fantasy managers should temper expectations on Soto taking a huge leap in the stolen base category. Soto is currently fifth overall among all players in the latest expert consensus draft rankings for 2021.
