Fantasy Impact:

After one of the more miraculous comeback stories of last season, Bard returned to the majors for the first time since 2013. Bard recorded a 3.65 ERA, a 1.29 WHIP, and 9.9 K/9 in 24.2 innings pitched in 2020, a line that was encouraging enough to get him the closing role at the start of the 2021 campaign. It's important to keep in mind, however, that Scott Oberg is currently recovering from surgery to prevent blood clots. So as Oberg's recovery progresses, Bard's value may become limited as the season goes on.
