Alex Kirilloff optioned to alternate training site

Fantasy Impact:
This isn't all that unexpected given Kirilloff's prospect status and his struggles in the spring (.129/.182/.258). But make no mistake - he is the future of the Twins' outfield, and he'll almost certainly be up playing left field soon. For now, the job is likely Jake Cave's, but assuming reports are positive for Kirilloff in the alternate site, expect him to return to the majors and be productive by May 1.
