Walker Buehler picks up a quality start on Saturday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Sun, Apr 4th 10:26am EDT

Walker Buehler took a no-decision on Saturday when he allowed two runs on four hits with four strikeouts over six innings in the Dodgers 6-5 win over the Rockies.

Fantasy Impact:

On paper, this didn't look like an impressive start but considering Trevor Bauer and Clayton Kershaw gave up a combined nine earned runs to the Rockies in the previous two games, it wasn't too shabby. Beuhler was able to stay out of trouble apart from a Raimel Tapia solo home run and Ryan McMahon RBI double. There have been concerns that the Dodgers will limit Buehler's innings this season so it was nice to see the young right-hander go six innings. He'll get the Nationals at home in his next turn.
