J.D. Martinez is not in the Red Sox lineup for the team's game against the Orioles on Saturday. Martinez is reportedly dealing with an illness. (Ian Browne on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Red Sox reportedly don't think the illness is COVID-19 related, and hope Martinez will be back tomorrow. He is off to a blistering start, slashing .433/.469/.867, so hopefully he can pick things back up on Sunday. Christian Vazquez will get a day off from catching and will DH in Martinez's stead.
