Andrew Vaughn will start Wednesday and Thursday against Cleveland. The White Sox top prospect will “get quite a bit of time on the road trip as well,” said manager Tony LaRussa. (Scott Merkin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Vaughn sat the last two games but is expected to see additional at-bats for Chicago’s road trip against Cleveland and the Red Sox. The 23-year-old has struggled this season, slashing .143/.400/.214 across 20 plate appearances. Vaughn has a ton of upside and should be rostered in all league formats despite the lack of plate appearances to start the year.
