Wil Myers goes 1-3 on Saturday

Myers had one of San Diego's three hits on Saturday. Myers had an opportunity to tie the game in the bottom of the 6th when he came up with runners on first and third with one out, but Myers instead grounded into an inning ending double play. The good news for Myers is that it doesn't seem like the minor knee injury he suffered last week in Pittsburgh is affecting him very much. He'll continue to get opportunities in the middle of the Padres' lineup as long as he's healthy.
