Eric Hosmer goes 1-4 on Sunday

Despite Hosmer only tallying one hit in the contest, he had the two hardest hit balls of the game, and three of the five hardest hit balls in the game. Additionally, Hosmer put the ball in play in all four of his plate appearances, and all four balls came off his bat at 100+ MPH. That is an impressive feat, and will certainly give Hosmer's average exit velocity and hard hit rate a boost. Hosmer's average exit velocity has been down this year, but he certainly left no doubt on Sunday that he can still hit lasers all over the field when he squares a ball up.
