Nate Pearson optioned to Triple-A Tuesday

The Toronto Blue Jays optioned starting pitcher Nate Pearson to Triple-A and recalled fellow right-hander Jeremy Beasley on Tuesday. Beasley will be active for the Blue Jays Tuesday night. (Toronto Blue Jays on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Pearson is one of the top young prospects in the Toronto system, but he missed the first month of the season with a groin injury and struggled with his command in his season debut on Sunday. If he can sort things out in the minors, it's possible he returns to the Blue Jays sooner rather than later.
