Brandon Nimmo plans to play with the New York Mets' Triple-A affiliate in Syracuse on Sunday as he begins his rehab assignment following some detached ligaments in his hand. (Anthony DiComo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Nimmo will look to rejoin the MLB roster some time next week as he enters the final stages of his rehab. He was hitting an impressive .318 prior to injury so his return would certainly be a welcome one for the Mets.
