by Brad Camara | Royals Correspondent | Wed, Jul 7th 10:16am EDT

Kansas City Royals pitcher Kris Bubic allowed five earned runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out four across four 1/3 innings during Tuesday’s 7-6 win over the Reds. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Bubic was hit hard during Tuesday’s win, allowing five runs on eight hits over four 1/3 innings. He surrendered a two-run shot to Kyle Farmer and was removed from the game after 100 pitches. He continues to struggle and has now allowed at exactly five earned runs in back-to-back starts. The 23-year-old owns a 5.40 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, and a 48:30 K: BB across 56 2/3 innings in 2021. Bubic will look for better results in his next start against Cleveland this weekend.
