Touki Toussaint pitched 3 1/3 innings against the Brewers Friday, allowing six hits, seven runs (all earned), and two walks while striking out five batters. He surrendered two gopher balls, which accounted for five runs, the Braves lost 9-5 and Toussaint is 1-2 on the year. He threw 79 pitches, 48 for strikes. He carries a 4.76 ERA.
Fantasy Impact:
The big thing against Toussaint has always been his consistency, but tonight was just a few costly mistakes. He can overcome that and rebound the next time out. Some pitches were sharp, good breaking action, don't drop him yet.
