Astros starter Framber Valdez allowed two runs over five innings of work against the Giants on Friday. His final line included four hits, three walks, and six strikeouts. He earned the win as Houston ultimately defeated San Francisco by a score of 9-6.

Valdez is now an impressive 7-2 with a 3.01 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and .225 OBA over the course of 12 starts this season. The 27-year-old has also walked 33 batters while walking 66.
