Drew Smyly pitched four innings against the Cards Wednesday, allowing six hits, three runs (all earned), and one walk while striking out two batters. He threw 75 pitches, 50 for strikes. He carries a 4.50 ERA.
Fantasy Impact:
Smyly has been a disappointment for the Braves this year. He basically can't pitch much because once the other team sees him once or twice, he's done. So his starts are becoming fancy bullpen games. He's nowhere near trustworthy in fantasy.
