Vladimir Gutierrez (9-4) picked up the win Sunday against the Marlins, allowing one run on three hits and one walk in seven innings. He struck out eight.

Gutierrez once again impressed en route to his ninth win in his rookie season. He's been dubbed a 'fly ball pitcher,' and many are quick to point out that home run regression will catch up with him. Nonetheless, he's been solid with a 3.68 ERA and 1.29 WHIP across 93 innings. He has a 2.95 ERA over his last seven starts (42.2 innings).
